Majority Leader joins GCB Bank Ramadan Iftar event in Accra
The Majority Leader in Parliament, Mahama Ayariga, has joined an Iftar gathering organised by Ghana Commercial Bank as part of activities marking the holy month of Ramadan.
The event, held at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra, brought together leaders of the Muslim community, distinguished guests and stakeholders from various sectors to break the fast and share in the spirit of the season.
Addressing participants, Mr. Ayariga said Ramadan serves as a sacred period that reminds people of the values of faith, sacrifice, compassion and unity.
According to him, the opportunity to break the fast together provided a meaningful platform for reflection and for strengthening the bonds that unite Ghanaians as a nation.
He commended GCB Bank for organising the gathering, noting that such initiatives promote togetherness and mutual respect among people of different faiths and backgrounds.
Mr. Ayariga also expressed hope that the holy month would bring peace, blessings and renewed hope to the country and to all who observe the period.
