Methodist Church honours Naa Torshie for supporting Wesley Towers project

The Methodist Church Ghana has honoured three individuals, including the Administrator of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), Irene Naa Torshie Addo-Lartey, for their significant contributions to the completion of the Wesley Towers, the ultra-modern head office complex of the Methodist Church Ghana.
As a symbol of appreciation, a gold-plated miniature scale model of the Wesley Towers was presented to each honoree.
At the ceremony held in Accra on November 30, 2023, the Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church, Most Rev Dr Paul Kwabena Boafo, explained that Irene Naa Torshie Addo-Lartey, Solomon Nuamah, and Grace Boison had made substantial contributions in cash and furniture, enabling the swift completion and furnishing of the Wesley Towers.
Expressing gratitude for the honour, Naa Torshie Addo-Lartey, who is not a current member of the Methodist Church Ghana, revealed that the church played a significant role in shaping her formative years and instilled in her discipline and morals based on strong Christian principles.
The Wesley Towers, commissioned in September 2023 by Most Rev Dr Paul K. Boafo and Vice President Mahamadu Bawumia, serves as a multipurpose facility for the Methodist Church Ghana.
The 16-storey single tower complex includes executive suites, offices, a restaurant, conference halls, and a car park for about 150 vehicles.
The project had been on hold for years due to financial constraints before commencing in October 2018
