Michael H. Yamson: New DA Common Fund Administrator sworn-in by President Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has charged the newly sworn-in Administrator of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), Michael Harry Yamson, to ensure the timely and adequate release of funds to district assemblies.
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony, Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the Jubilee House, President Mahama emphasised zero tolerance for inefficiencies and underperformance.
He urged the new administrator to play a key role in achieving true decentralisation, ensuring development wa distributed evenly.
On his part, Michael Harry Yamson assured the president of his commitment to curbing delays, improving efficiency, and guaranteeing value for money in the fund's disbursement.
Mr Yamson was before Parliament’s Appointments Committee on Thursday, March 20, for vetting.
