Mustapha Abdul-Hamid: Former NPA CEO loses mother
The family of former Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) and former Minister of State, Dr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, has announced the passing of his mother, Hajia Adama Musah.
According to a press release issued on June 12, 2026, Hajia Adama Musah, who was also an aunt and grandmother, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026, after a short illness.
The statement, signed by Haruna Maiga, aide to Dr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, announced that Islamic funeral prayers (Janaza) will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
The prayers are scheduled to take place at the Police Mosque in Cantonments, Accra, at 10 AM.
Following the prayers, the late Hajia Adama Musah will be buried at the Madina Muslim Cemetery.
The family has invited friends, sympathisers and members of the public to attend the funeral rites.
