Presby Moderator dedicates new Ministry of Finance office complex
The Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, on Monday morning dedicated the newly completed Ministry of Finance office complex in Accra, offering prayers for the leadership and staff as they begin work in the facility.
The brief but solemn ceremony, held before the start of the workday, brought together staff of the Ministry and senior officials for a moment of reflection and thanksgiving at the plush office edifice at Kanda near the seat of Government.
During the dedication, the Moderator prayed for the Minister for Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson; Deputy Minister, Thomas Ampem Nyarko; and the Chief Director, Patrick Nomo, as well as the entire staff of the Ministry.
He asked for divine wisdom, strength and guidance to enable them effectively manage Ghana’s economic challenges and steer the country toward stability and growth.
The prayer also sought clarity of purpose, integrity and sound decision-making for the Ministry’s leadership as they undertake the critical task of shaping the nation’s fiscal and economic policies.
Staff later resumed work following the short ceremony, marking the official start of activities in the new complex.![]()
