Safo Family denies unauthorised statements by church member
The Aduana Family of Essumeja, Asante-Bekwai, has warned the public against unauthorised statements being made about the late Prof. Dr. Eng. Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana.
The family stressed that all official communications regarding the late Apostle must come solely from recognised family representatives.
The statement, issued by Dr. Philip Siaw Kissi, Senior Lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba, emphasised that Mr. Seth Appiah Richard Brown, popularly known as Osebo, though a member of the Kristo Asafo Church, is not part of the Safo family and holds no official role in family matters.
Any statements from him or other unauthorised individuals do not reflect the official position of the family. Dr. Kissi can be contacted at 0244663209 for verification.
In line with Asante-Aduana clan traditions, bereavement matters are managed by immediate and extended family members under the guidance of the Abusuapanin (family head).
The family also expressed gratitude to the Kristo Asafo Church, well-wishers, and the general public for their support, prayers, and solidarity during the 40-day memorial celebration of the late Apostle.
They described the outpouring of love and respect from Ghanaians as a source of comfort and strength.
The Safo family reaffirmed its commitment to preserving the legacy, values, and teachings of Prof. Dr. Eng. Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka and assured that official communications will continue to be issued through recognised channels when necessary.
