Accra High Court allows NPP’s Abronye DC to travel for master’s programme
The Accra High Court has granted permission to Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), to travel abroad to pursue his Master’s programme.
The court approved the application on the condition that he returns to Ghana to appear before it on the next adjourned date for the continuation of his trial.
Abronye DC is currently facing charges of publication of false news and offensive conduct conducive to the breach of the peace.
He was earlier granted bail by the same court but had his passport surrendered as part of the bail conditions.
This latest ruling allows him to travel while complying with the ongoing legal proceedings.
