Momo vendor robbed GHS 55k in broad day light

A mobile money vendor in Atwima Koforidua in the Eastern Region is facing significant losses after being robbed of GHS 55,000 in broad daylight.
The incident occurred on Monday afternoon as the vendor was returning from the bank to his stall.
Reports indicate that two robbers on a motorbike had trailed the vendor from the bank.
As the vendor alighted from a car and approached his stall, the robbers pretended to be customers wanting to withdraw cash.
In a swift move, the pillion rider snatched the bag containing the money while the motorbike rider sped off, leaving the vendor and bystanders in shock.
