PBC Managing Director alleges 'armed robbery' at official residence

Kwaku Nkansah, Managing Director of PBC Limited, has reported an alleged armed robbery incident at his official residence involving individuals claiming to be from the Office of Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL).
According to Nkansah, the group forcibly entered his premises, took possession of a government-issued pickup truck, and attempted to seize another vehicle assigned to him.
In a statement released following the incident, Nkansah identified a man known as “Last Killer” as the leader of the group.
He alleged that the individuals threatened to tow away the Toyota V8 without the key, stating that they could not be held responsible for any damage caused in the process.
When questioned, they were unable to provide the name of the Colonel supposedly overseeing the operation.
Describing the incident as "armed robbery," Nkansah condemned the actions of the ORAL team and demanded the immediate return of his vehicles.
He emphasized that he remains under contract as Managing Director of PBC Limited and that any actions regarding his official assets must adhere to due process.
“I do not have to prove anything to anyone. I still have a contract, and while the President can terminate it, the contract and its provisions must be respected,” he stated.
“Until my contract is terminated and my exit clauses effected, there can be no justification for what happened today.”
Nkansah also expressed appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, for swiftly deploying a team to his residence to address the situation.
He further called on President John Mahama to intervene and halt what he described as unlawful and politically motivated actions.
“The mandate of ORAL is not to recover vehicles or alleged stolen state property. We have laws in this country, and they must be followed,” he added.
