8,442 of 27,455 fail teacher licensure exam; results out tomorrow
Some 19,013 out of a total of 27,455, representing 60.3 per cent of candidates who sat the 2020 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) passed, according to the National Teaching Council (NTC).
The results will be released on Tuesday, 5 January 2021.
A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Council, Mr Dennis Osei-Owusu on Monday, 4 January 2021, indicated that the remaining 8,442, representing 30.7 per cent of the candidates, failed the examination.
Meanwhile, the results of some of the candidates have been withheld pending investigation.
The statement further noted that “all candidates can check their results from the NTC online portal at exam.ntc.gov.gh by using either their pins during registration or the examination index numbers using their phone numbers”.
“Candidates are advised to print their provisional certificate after checking results”, it added.
