Education Ministry waives fees for accessing SHS, TVET placement results
The Ministry of Education has announced that, for the first time, students checking their Senior High School (SHS) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) placements for the 2024/2025 academic year will do so without any cost.
This initiative, introduced ahead of the placement release, removes the need for students to buy pin codes, making the process simpler and accessible for all.
In a statement signed by the spokesperson for the Ministry, Kwasi Kwartent, the Ministry explained the updated procedure for accessing results.
Students should: Visit the official CSSPS website at cssps.gov.gh or cssps.org.
Enter their ten-digit index number, followed by the year of completion, such as "123456789024" if completed in 2024.
Click “Submit” to view their placement result.
This policy shift is anticipated to benefit thousands of first-year students and ease the financial burden on families.
