GES announces timeline for ongoing recruitment process
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced key dates for its ongoing recruitment process, indicating that applications are currently being reviewed to ensure applicants meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the recruitment advertisement.
In a statement dated June 23, 2026, and signed by Deputy Director-General (Management Services), Prof. Smile Dzisi, on behalf of the Director-General, GES expressed appreciation to all applicants for their interest in serving the nation through the Service.
According to the statement, the recruitment process will follow the following schedule:
- By June 30, 2026: Review of applications completed.
- By July 20, 2026: Announcement of shortlisted candidates.
- July 20 to August 31, 2026: Onboarding process at the regional and district levels.
GES said successful applicants are expected to assume duty on August 31, 2026.
The Service thanked applicants for their patience and understanding throughout the recruitment process and wished all candidates the best.
