GHANASCO toilet-turned-dormitory report inaccurate – Haruna Iddrisu

Former Minority Leader and Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale South in the Nothern Region, Haruna Iddrisu, has described the report about the GHANASCO toilet being turned into a dormitory as inaccurate and not factual.
He said this when he visited Ghana Senior High School (GHANASCO) to access the situation.
He appealed to the media to be circumspect and report facts about the Cabral and Gbanzaba houses.
"Much of what has been put out publicly is not entirely factual and accurate," the MP told journalists after assessing the place.
''Much of what has been out publicly is not entirely factual and accurate,” he noted.
According to him, what has been put out lacks the historical perspectives and lack of use for the said facility.
“There is no official report to support the views out there that students are being made to sleep in toilets as dormitories”, he stressed.
“The facility in contention has largely been used as a box office and toilet facilities and abandoned since the 1970s to 80s,” the lawmaker clarified adding “but this time, this same facility is being used by some students looking for isolation for purposes of learning”
