Level-400 UEW acrobat crash-lands to death after final exams
A student of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has died after crash-landing from a celebratory backflip after the end of his final exams.
The Level-400 student was rushed to the 37 Military Hospital but died two days later from his injuries.
Majeed was displaying some acrobatic skills with his mates on Tuesday, 7 September 2021 to mark the end of their academic journey on campus but got seriously injured in the process.
His death has thrown the school into a sombre state.
The deceased student was a gymnast with the school’s Department of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Sports.
