Member of Parliament for North Tongu  Constituency, Samuel Okudzeto- Ablakwa, has once again demonstrated his commitment to education by donating laptops to teachers newly posted to rural communities within the constituency.

A total of 36 teachers are benefiting from the latest phase of the initiative, which aims to support and motivate educators who accept postings to underserved areas.

“This gesture is our way of showing appreciation to teachers who accept postings to rural communities in my beloved constituency,” the MP said. “We want them to feel welcomed and valued.”

Mr. Ablakwa noted that the laptop donation is part of a broader strategy to improve teaching and learning outcomes in North Tongu.

He announced plans to scale up other teacher-focused interventions, including continuous professional development programmes, scholarship schemes, and annual awards to recognise excellence in teaching.

“These policies are designed to help retain teachers, motivate them, and ultimately improve the quality of education delivered to our children,” he added.
