St. Andrews Group of Schools and Companies grab another award

St. Andrews Group of Schools and Companies, has been adjudged the Outstanding Educational Services in the country.
The multiple award-winning group, known for providing quality education in the areas of secondary and nursing training, broadcasting, and hiring services among others, was honoured at the ninth edition of the Made-in-Ghana Awards held in Accra last Friday.
Some indigenous made-in-Ghana products and industries were also shortlisted to receive different awards under different categories including, The Pride of Ghana Award, The Personality awards and the Hall of Fame Award.
St. Andrews Group came first from a list of five secondary schools nominated in the country for the same award in the Educational Services category.
The Made-in-Ghana Awards 2022 seeks to recognise and celebrate outstanding performances by some indigenous Ghanaian industries, businesses and entrepreneurial successes in the country.
The Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O), of St. Andrews Group of Schools and Companies, Professor Richard Kofi Asiedu, received the award on behalf of the group.
The event organised by the Entrepreneur Foundation of Ghana (EFG), hosted players in the business sector, members of the diplomatic corps and Ministers of State, including the Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei, who was the guest of honour.
In her address, Madam Dokua commended the awardees for impacting the lives of Ghanaians and contributing to the national economy in these perilous times.
Assuring them of the government’s continuous support to ensure that their businesses thrive especially under the 1D1F programme, she encouraged the awardees to prioritise the development of young entrepreneurs to reduce the high rate of unemployment in the country.
