Wisconsin International University College Ghana has been recognized as the “Educational Institution of the Year” at the prestigious 2024 Ghana Business Awards.
This annual event celebrated leaders and institutions that have excelled across Ghana's business, education, and public sectors, and Wisconsin emerged as a top institution, marking its continued commitment to providing high-quality, practical education.
This honour reflects Wisconsin’s dedication to an innovative, hands-on educational approach that prepares its graduates to excel across various industries.
Over the past year, the university has made significant investments in its academic and practical training infrastructure, commissioning a state-of-the-art Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics Laboratory, a new School of Nursing Skills Laboratory, and a Communication Broadcasting Studio.
These cutting-edge facilities are designed to give students practical, industry-relevant experiences, strengthening their competitiveness in the workforce.
In addition to infrastructure, Wisconsin has expanded its academic offerings to include new master’s programmes, such as MSc Nursing, MSc Midwifery, and MPhil Midwifery.
These additions address the growing demand for specialized skills in healthcare and reinforce the university's role as a leader in higher education in Ghana.
