C/R: Awutu Senya West MP pays head fees for 105 apprentices

Awutu Senya West MP Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui has put smiles on the faces of 105 apprentices in her constituency.
Madam Tetteh-Agbotui made this possible via her Asumiapa programme, generously paying paid the head fees for 105 apprentices in skill training at Awutu Bawjiase.
This gesture is to empower the youths in her constituency, “some being hairdressers, dressmakers, masons, aluminum fabricators, caterers, pastry makers,” she noted.
“What motivated me is that there is a need to look at all your stakeholders in this service of ours, and notice what their needs are,” she disclosed, noting even “before campaigns some constituents come to put their issues before you which need addressing, saying these things were in their way to sort themselves out and learn a trade,” she revealed.
“I’m also a TVET person and they know I make a lot of noise about vocational work and we shall continue to do so. So far we’ve paid head fees for about 450 people. Bawjiasi is the largest group.”
Madam Tetteh-Agbotui broached “President Mahama’s apprenticeship which will materialise and take off soon.
“These beneficiaries have already taken the lead and other groups ore will come after. I’ve informed the masters to be ready and open their capacity.”
Madam Tetteh-Agbotui in an interview with Class Media Group (CMG) reporter Samuel Addo, counselled the beneficiaries to remain humble under their masters and mentors to acquire employable skills to navigate the future with ease.
The beneficiaries, also, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the MP for her invaluable support.
They continued that the Asumiapa programme had come to save them from teenage pregnancy and other disruptive experiences.
