Nana B: NPP National Organiser sues Gov't of Ghana over 'widespread', 'unlawful termination of appointments'

Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), the National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has revealed on social media he “filed a lawsuit against the Government of Ghana, challenging the unlawful termination of appointments for individuals employed both before and after December 7, [2024]”.
His Tuesday, February 18, 2025, Facebook post continued: “The decision to file this lawsuit is because President John Dramani Mahama, through the Chief of Staff, does not have the constitution authority to direct Heads of Government Institutions to revoke appointments and recruitments made with the Public Services of Ghana.
“However, following the directive issued on February 10, 2025, we have seen institutions acting in compliance, leading to widespread dismissals.”
