Constantine Kudzedzi elected as new PIAC Chair, Odeefuo Amoakwa Boadu VIII re-elected Vice Chair

The Public Interest and Accountability Committee (PIAC) has elected Mr. Constantine K.M. Kudzedzi, as its new Chairperson for a one-year term.

Mr. Kudzedzi, a respected lawyer and public advocate, succeeds Emerita Professor Elizabeth Ardayfio-Schandorf, who served in the role previously.

His election marks a new phase for PIAC as it continues its mandate to ensure accountability and transparency in the management of Ghana’s petroleum revenue.

Alongside the leadership transition, Odeefuo Amoakwa Boadu VIII was re-elected as the Vice Chair of PIAC, extending his role for another one-year term.

Odeefuo Amoakwa Boadu VIII, a respected traditional leader, has been instrumental in advancing PIAC's mission and providing continuity within the organization.

The new leadership aims to uphold PIAC’s mission of promoting responsible stewardship of petroleum resources to benefit all Ghanaians.

Members of the public and stakeholders have extended their congratulations and support to Mr. Kudzedzi and Odeefuo Amoakwa Boadu VIII as they work to fulfil the committee's mandate.
