DVLA CEO assures completion of Jomoro DVLA office this year
The Chief Executive Officer of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), Mr Julius Neequaye Kotey, has paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Minister of Transport and Member of Parliament for Jomoro, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, as part of ongoing engagements aimed at advancing reforms and service delivery within the transport sector.
The meeting, held at the beginning of the new year, focused on key initiatives lined up for the transport sector, with particular emphasis on strengthening service delivery nationwide.
Discussions highlighted the critical role the DVLA is expected to play in improving efficiency, accessibility and responsiveness in the provision of driver and vehicle licensing services.
A major highlight of the engagement was an update on the establishment of a DVLA office in Jomoro.
Mr Kotey assured that work on the facility is currently underway and that the office will be completed and become operational within the promised timeline this year.
The completion of the Jomoro DVLA office is expected to significantly improve access to essential services for residents of the area and surrounding communities, reducing travel time and cost for clients who previously had to rely on offices in distant locations.
Both parties expressed optimism about the year ahead, noting that ongoing collaboration and targeted interventions within the transport sector will help deliver improved outcomes for the public.
