Empowering disabled entrepreneurs: Osei Collective hosts transformative masterclass in Accra

Osei Collective has taken a bold step toward economic inclusion with its latest Masterclass, held at the British Council Accra. This high-impact training session brought together a cohort of determined entrepreneurs with disabilities, equipping them with essential skills in customer experience, marketing, and artificial intelligence to accelerate their business growth.
This initiative is part of PROJECT MRKTPLCE, a groundbreaking six-month economic inclusion program designed to empower disabled entrepreneurs by expanding their market reach and providing access to new opportunities. With a strong focus on practical learning, the Masterclass ensured participants left with actionable strategies to strengthen their businesses and compete in an evolving digital economy.
“At Osei Collective, we believe that economic opportunities should be accessible to all, regardless of ability,” said Jessica Quelennec, Founder of Osei Collective. “PROJECT MRKTPLCE is more than a program—it’s a movement toward breaking barriers and ensuring that entrepreneurs with disabilities have the tools, knowledge, and networks to thrive. We are especially grateful to the British Council Accra for providing the space and support to make this Masterclass a success. Partnerships like these are vital in creating inclusive platforms where everyone has the chance to grow and succeed.”
Through an expert-led session and collaborative learning, the Masterclass not only provided technical skills but also fostered a community of resilient business owners ready to make their mark. By integrating AI and modern marketing strategies, entrepreneurs gained insights into how technology can level the playing field, enabling them to scale their small businesses with confidence.
Osei Collective remains committed to driving inclusive economic empowerment, and PROJECT MRKTPLCE is just one of many initiatives that will continue to bridge the gap for underrepresented entrepreneurs in Ghana and beyond.
Jessica Quelennec continued: “At Osei Collective, we believe that economic opportunities should be accessible to all, regardless of ability."
She went on to say, “PROJECT MRKTPLCE is more than a program—it is a movement toward breaking barriers and ensuring that entrepreneurs with disabilities have the tools, knowledge, and networks to thrive. We are especially grateful to the British Council Accra for providing the space and support to make this Masterclass a success. Partnerships like these are vital in creating inclusive platforms where everyone has the chance to grow and succeed.”
This initiative is part of a broader commitment to fostering economic inclusion for persons with disabilities, equipping them with the resources and opportunities needed to achieve financial independence, sustainability, and long-term growth.
