GIPC CEO attends launch of World Bank’s B-READY Report
The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Mr. Simon Madjie, has attended the launch of the World Bank Group’s Business Ready (B-READY) Report, which assesses the business and investment climate across participating countries.
The report highlighted Ghana’s strong performance in key areas, particularly labour-market regulation and the provision of utilities, noting these as important foundations for business operations and investor activity.
However, it also outlined several reform areas aimed at strengthening the private sector, improving the ease of doing business and boosting investor confidence.
Mr. Madjie’s participation at the launch underscores GIPC’s continued commitment to engaging with global partners and leveraging international assessments to inform policy reforms and enhance Ghana’s attractiveness as an investment destination.
The B-READY Report, developed by the World Bank Group, serves as a diagnostic tool to guide governments in implementing business-friendly policies and creating a more competitive environment for private-sector growth.
