GJA to hold 2025 AGM on March 31

The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has announced that its 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on March 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Ghana International Press Centre in Accra.
In line with Article 34(f) of the GJA Constitution (2004), the National Executive has scheduled the AGM, which serves as the highest decision-making body of the Association.
Per Article 34(a)(ii), the AGM must be convened by the National Executive within the first quarter of each year.
Agenda for the MeetingThe meeting will cover key discussions, including:
Presentation of the General Secretary’s Annual Report Review of the audited accounts of the Association, to be presented by the National Treasurer Discussion of regional reports Any other business (AOB)The GJA emphasized that all members in good standing as of December 31, 2024, are eligible to attend the meeting.
However, only registered members, excluding honorary and student members, will have voting rights during the proceedings.
The notice was signed by Kofi Yeboah, General Secretary of the GJA.
