Bondzie unveils reform agenda to reposition Energy Commission at staff durbar
The newly appointed Executive Secretary of the Energy Commission, Ms. Adwoa Serwaa Bondzie, has outlined a bold vision to reposition the Commission for greater national impact as she addressed management and staff at a durbar.
In her maiden engagement with staff, Ms. Bondzie expressed profound appreciation to past and present Boards, Management and employees for their dedication and resilience, noting that their collective efforts have firmly established the Commission as Ghana’s pioneer energy regulator.
She stressed the need for a renewed sense of purpose anchored on excellence, innovation and professionalism, while reinforcing regulatory discipline across the sector.
According to her, the Commission must also play a critical role in supporting responsible investment and advancing Ghana’s energy transition agenda.
Ms. Bondzie reaffirmed her commitment to staff welfare and professional growth, pledging fairness, transparency and merit-based progression within the institution.
She also assured staff of an open-door leadership approach as the Commission embarks on strategic reforms aimed at strengthening its operations and enhancing its contribution to national development.
“Together, we will reposition the Energy Commission to soar higher in service to Ghana,” she stated.
Responding on behalf of staff, the Vice Union Chair expressed gratitude to the new Executive Secretary and conveyed confidence in her leadership.
The staff further pledged their full support to ensure the successful delivery of her mandate.
