IHRC senior deputy chair Abu Zein pays courtesy call on Ghana’s National Chief Imam

The Senior Deputy Chair of the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC), Ambassador Dr Abu Zein, has called on the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr Osman Sharubutu, at his residence in Accra.

The purpose of the visit was to pay respect and seek the blessings of the National Chief Imam.

During the meeting, Ambassador Dr Abu Zein discussed matters of business development interest and issues of national importance, touching on community development and social issues. The National Chief Imam, renowned for his advocacy of peace and unity, provided valuable insights and guidance.

As an international businessman and a global leader in Human Rights, Ambassador Zein expressed his gratitude to the National Chief Imam for his tremendous and impeccable contributions to national development and Islamic leadership that have advanced the promotion of human rights and development in Ghana and internationally.

Ambassador Dr Abu Zein expressed the willingness of the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) to work with the office of the National Chief Imam to promote human rights at all levels of national and international endeavours, citing that the Commission's quest is to ensure peaceful coexistence and brotherliness among all religions and societies for global development.

 

Dr Abu Zein, therefore, asked the National Chief Imam to continue to pray for the nation as a whole.
