Mahama dismisses CDS Oppong-Pepprah, other military heads

President John Mahama has removed the Chief of Defense Staff General Oppong Pepprah and other heads of the Ghana Armed forces.
A statement signed by Presidential spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu said the President has appointed Brigadier General William Agyapong as the new Chief of Defense Staff.
The statement also named new service commanders for the Ghana Armed Forces.
