Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Dr. John Jinapor, has reassured Ghanaians that the country has experienced no load shedding for over ten months and that there is currently no deficit in power generation.

Dr. Jinapor made the remarks during a meeting convened with the leadership of key power sector agencies on Friday to address concerns over frequent power outages reported in parts of Accra and Kumasi.

He stated that while the overall national power supply remains stable, the reported localised disruptions are being taken seriously.

The Minister has directed the relevant agencies to develop and present a clear, time-bound roadmap to resolve these issues promptly.

“Government remains resolutely committed to delivering consistent and reliable power supply at all times,” Dr. Jinapor emphasised, assuring residents that steps are being taken to address the challenges and ensure uninterrupted electricity across the country.
