President Mahama calls for thorough interrogation of Ahmed Suale's murder suspect

President John Dramani Mahama has called for a comprehensive and immediate interrogation of the suspect linked to the murder of investigative journalist Ahmed Suale.
He made this appeal during a courtesy visit from the leader of the Ghana Bar Association led by its President, Efua Ghartey.
The comment followed the recent arrest of Daniel Owusu Koranteng, a former associate of the late journalist, who has since been charged with Suale’s murder.
President Mahama emphasized the need for a swift and meticulous investigation, stressing that a thorough interrogation of the suspect could uncover crucial leads, potentially resulting in more arrests and ensuring justice for the slain journalist.
Beyond the Suale case, the President reaffirmed his commitment to upholding human rights and urged authorities to expedite the prosecution of those responsible for the murder of former Member of Parliament, JB Danquah.
