The initiative according to the regional communication officer, Abdallah J. Salifu seeks to equip the communicators with the requisite expertise in effective communication towards the 2024 elections.
“The Regional Bureau is set to ensure the last person at the branch level is as effective as our national boss Sammy Gyamfi. Only then can we say we are an effective team", he said.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Class FM’s Upper East Regional Correspondent, Moses Apiah, the officer indicated that so far, his outfit has assisted three (3) constituencies Binduri, Bawku Central, and Pusiga carry out their capacity training workshops.
“We believe that elections 2024 will largely be won through effective Political communication not only at the national and Regional levels but at the Constituencies, Wards, and branches. We also hold the view that building the capacity of our communication teams will facilitate the achievement of Agenda 15/15 which is at the heart of the Regional Executive Committee,” the communicator noted.
