Christmas day: Ho hospitals welcome 9 newborns, including twins

The Ho Teaching Hospital and the Ho Municipal Hospital have announced the arrival of nine newborns, on Christmas day, 25 December 2023.
At the Ho Teaching Hospital, the maternity ward buzzed with excitement as five new babies entered the world on this special day.
Among them were three bouncing baby boys and two adorable baby girls.
The hospital also witnessed the arrival of a set of male twins, who were safely delivered during the night.
The dedicated midwives on duty beamed with joy as they escorted the mother of the twins from the maternity ward to the Delivery Suite, ensuring a safe and successful delivery.
The celebration of life echoed through the hospital corridors, marking a memorable Christmas for both the medical team and the new parents.
Meanwhile, the Ho Municipal Hospital shared in the festivities, recording four new deliveries on the same day.
The newborns at this facility included two baby boys and two baby girls.
Both government facilities, the Ho Teaching Hospital and the Ho Municipal Hospital, welcomed a combined total of nine newborns on Christmas Day.
The belief that babies born on Christmas Day hold a special significance resonated among many, with some viewing it as a unique connection to the celebration of Jesus Christ.
