First Atlantic Bank donates to Ghana Medical Trust Fund to boost healthcare delivery

The Ghana Medical Trust Fund has received a generous donation from First Atlantic Bank in support of efforts to advance healthcare delivery across the country.
The high-level delegation from the bank was led by Mr. Daniel Marfo, Executive Director, Business, and included Mr. James Aboney, Regional Head, Accra East; Mr. Chris Kan-Dapaah, Group Head, Energy Banking & Financial Institutions; and Mr. Ebenezer Akyeampong, Head of Corporate Communications.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Mr. Marfo reaffirmed First Atlantic Bank’s commitment to strengthening Ghana’s healthcare sector, noting that the support forms part of the Bank’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agenda.
“This donation reflects our dedication to expanding access to quality healthcare, and we assure the Fund of our continuous support in future interventions,” he said.
The Fund’s Administrator, Miss Obuobia Darko-Opoku, expressed gratitude for the timely contribution, stressing that corporate partnerships play a vital role in complementing government efforts to improve health systems.
“Support from institutions like First Atlantic Bank helps us strengthen healthcare delivery, enhance access to essential services, and ultimately save lives,” she said.
