Ghana’s active COVID-19 cases drop to 4,358; death toll up 1,111
As of 12 September 2021, Ghana’s active COVID-19 cases in the third wave had fallen to 4,358, the latest figures from the Ghana Health Service indicate.
The death toll, however, increased to 1,111.
Some 125 new cases were also confirmed within the period.
Out of the active cases, 42 are critical and 120 severe.
Since mid-March 2020, Ghana has recorded a total of 124,404 COVID-19 cases.
Of that number, 118,935 have recovered.
