Afenyo-Markin urges Mahama to complete Agenda 111 projects
The Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has called on the Mahama administration to prioritise the completion of the Agenda 111 hospital projects initiated under former President Nana Akufo-Addo, describing the facilities as vital to improving healthcare delivery nationwide.
Speaking at the Institute of Economic Research and Public Policy Lecture Series, Afenyo-Markin stressed that the ongoing hospital projects are critical to expanding access to quality healthcare in underserved communities.
He urged the current government to take the necessary steps to complete and open the facilities without delay.
According to him, finishing the projects would ensure that the significant investments already made translate into tangible benefits for Ghanaians across the country.
The Minority Leader also stated that the Minority Caucus’ demand for a reversal of the cocoa producer price is rooted in the ideological principles of J. B. Danquah, emphasising their commitment to policies that protect the welfare of farmers and promote economic fairness.
