Alan’s resignation: Ghanaians believe in NPP than NDC – Former New Juabeng Chairman

Kwadwo AgyeFormer Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the New Juabeng North Constituency in the Eastern Region, Mr Kwadwo Agyeman Boateng, has expressed confidence in the NPP despite the resignation of former Trade and Industry Minister, Mr Alan Kyerematen. 

He stated that many Ghanaians still believe in the NPP's ability to deliver on its promises.

Speaking on the discussion segment of the Ghana Yensom morning show hosted by Odehyeeba Kofi Essuman on Accra 100.5 FM on Thursday, September 27, 2023, Mr Agyeman Boateng noted that Alan Kyerematen's decision to resign from the party and contest the upcoming general elections as an independent candidate has emboldened the rank and file of the NPP.

He highlighted that many party supporters are inspired by Alan Kyerematen's move, and there is still hope among Ghanaians that the NPP can break the eight-year political cycle and return to power. 

He assured that the NPP is leaving no stone unturned in its preparations for the 2024 general elections and is committed to seeking victory as an opposition party.

Regarding some of the reasons cited by Mr Kyerematen for his resignation from the party, Mr Agyeman Boateng pointed out that Mr Kyerematen has benefited significantly from the party and throughout his political career.
