Apologise to our MP - Sewfi-Wiaso constituents to Speaker

Scores of the members of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Sefwi-Wiawso Constituency of the Westen North Region staged a protest against the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin.
This demonstration followed an incident where the Speaker asked their Member of Parliament, Dr. Kwaku Afriyie, to leave the chamber due to a "rude" comment.
The protesting party members expressed that the Speaker's action was a significant disrespect to their MP and the people of Sefwi-Wiawso.
The NPP Constituency Secretary Atta Marfo speaking to the media described the Speaker's conduct as unfortunate and demanded an unqualified apology to their MP and the residents of Sefwi-Wiawso.
The protesters have given the Speaker a one-week ultimatum to issue an apology to their MP and the people of Sefwi-Wiawso, warning of further actions if their demand is not met.
