Asiedu Nketia installed as chief warrior of Otublohum state

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has been installed as the Chief Warrior of the Otublohum State in the Greater Accra Region.
Following his installation, he has assumed the stool name Nii Otanka Okaija Akraman.
The honour, according to traditional leaders of Otublohum, recognises Mr. Asiedu Nketia’s leadership qualities, resilience, and contributions to national development.
His new role as chief warrior places him in a position of responsibility within the state’s traditional structure.
Asiedu Nketia, popularly known in political circles as General Mosquito, will now have to combine his national political leadership with his new traditional title.
The installation has been received with interest both within political and traditional circles, as it highlights the intersection between modern politics and Ghana’s long-standing chieftaincy traditions.
