Commonwealth Secretariat denies misuse of letterhead in Ghana

The Commonwealth Secretariat has dismissed reports suggesting its official letterhead was misused in Ghana, insisting that no such incident has occurred.
In a statement, spokesperson Satinder Bindra clarified that the Secretariat had not issued any comment or denial about the alleged unauthorised use of its stationery because “no such incident has occurred.”
The statement further explained that although more than 90 organisations are accredited to the Commonwealth, they operate independently and have no shared office bearers with the Secretariat itself.
The clarification comes amid growing speculation in Ghana about possible misuse of Commonwealth credentials in official correspondence.
