Deputy Minister John Dumelo welcomes first-year students at University of Ghana
Yesterday, Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture and Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo, visited the University of Ghana campus to welcome students, with a special focus on first-year students returning to school.
During his visit, Mr. Dumelo assured the students that he would be a constant source of support throughout their time on campus, pledging to help make their university experience both safe and memorable.
He engaged with students, offered words of encouragement, and emphasised the importance of dedication to academics and personal development.
The gesture was warmly received by students, particularly those entering the university for the first time, who expressed appreciation for the Deputy Minister’s presence and commitment to their welfare.
Mr. Dumelo’s visit forms part of his broader efforts to engage with constituents and youth, demonstrating support for education and student life in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency of the Greater Accra Region.
