Filson Awankua commends peaceful voting process in Nabdam Constituency
Filson Awankua, founder of the Rapid Response Unit for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia (RRU4DMB) and National Deputy Coordinator for Friends of Dr. Bawumia, has expressed satisfaction with the orderly conduct of elections in the Nabdam Constituency.
Speaking to the media at the Damolo-Tindong Primary JHS polling station, Mr. Awankua lauded voters and election officials for maintaining peace and order throughout the process.
He highlighted the cooperation and civility demonstrated by all stakeholders, which he observed during visits to 20 polling stations across three constituencies.
"I am pleased to report that there have been no incidents of voter or electoral officer disturbances," he stated, praising the Electoral Commission and election observers for their professionalism and efficiency.
Mr. Awankua also commended the youth for playing a significant role in ensuring a calm electoral atmosphere, emphasizing that their commitment to peace is crucial for the nation’s democratic growth.
He encouraged voters to remain patient and vigilant as the process continues, urging all parties to uphold the spirit of democracy and unity.
