GCPP congratulates Mahama on election victory
The Presidential Candidate of the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP), Dr. Daniel Augustus Lartey Jr., has extended his congratulations to John Dramani Mahama on his victory in Ghana’s 2024 presidential election.
In a statement issued on December 9, Dr. Lartey Jr. conveyed his heartfelt commendation to the President-elect, describing his win as a decisive endorsement by the Ghanaian people.
“I extend my sincere congratulations to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the President-elect of the Fourth Republic of Ghana, on this remarkable victory,” the statement read.
Dr. Lartey Jr. also lauded the Electoral Commission, security agencies, civil society organizations, political parties, and all stakeholders for ensuring a free, fair, and transparent electoral process.
He remarked that the election demonstrated the strength of Ghana’s democracy, highlighting the unwavering support and confidence Ghanaians have placed in John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
As part of his message, Dr. Lartey Jr. urged the President-elect to focus on fostering unity, inclusiveness, and the welfare of all citizens as he prepares to assume office.
“This victory comes with great responsibility.
I encourage you to prioritize national cohesion and work towards the well-being of all Ghanaians, irrespective of political affiliations,” he added.
