Ghana and Malawi agree on visa waiver
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has announced a visa waiver agreement between Ghana and the Republic of Malawi
According to a release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, the agreement took effect on 7th February, 2024 with the aim of strengthening the bilateral relations and existing cooperation between Ghana and Malawi.
The visa waiver agreement will serve as a regime for holders of ordinary, diplomatic, and service passports.
In the release, it mentioned that “travelers may transit through, depart from and stay in the territory of both countries for a cumulative period of up to ninety (90) days without a recourse to work within a calendar year”.
