Ghana reaffirms ties with Kuwait at 65th National Day celebration
The Deputy Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Richard Gyan-Mensah, has represented the Government of Ghana as Special Guest of Honour at the 65th National Day and 35th Liberation Anniversary of Kuwait.
He attended the ceremony on behalf of the Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Abdulai Jinapor, joining Kuwaiti diplomatic officials for the national anthems and ceremonial cake-cutting.
The event highlighted the longstanding bilateral relations between Ghana and Kuwait, built on mutual respect and cooperation. Key among the areas of collaboration is support from the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, which has contributed to projects in infrastructure, education, health, agriculture, water resources and energy in Ghana.
During the celebration, the Deputy Minister also engaged in discussions aimed at strengthening trade, investment and technical cooperation between the two countries.
He expressed optimism about the future of Ghana–Kuwait relations, noting that both nations remain committed to deepening partnerships for shared growth and development.
