Ghana will continue to partner Saudi Arabia – Interior Minister assures

The Minister for the Interior, Ambrose Dery has assured that Ghana will continue to partner with Saudi Arabia and all peace-loving countries to work towards the maintenance of world peace and security.
The Minister made the remarks when he led Government delegation at the 93rd National Day Anniversary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Accra.
He expressed his appreciation to the Government of Saudi Arabia for their support over the years to Ghana in the area of energy, education, health, humanitarian assistance, agriculture and infrastructure.
Ambrose Dery encouraged Saudi investors to take advantage of the conducive business environment in Ghana, characterised by an abundance of natural resources such as arable land, gold, cocoa, oil, and gas.
The Minister noted that Ghana’s stable political environment, peace and security, as well as opportunities presented by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat in Accra, make Ghana stand out as one of the best locations for investment in the sub-region.
The Minister congratulated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on their anniversary and proposed a toast to the continued well-being, good health, and prosperity of the King and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Ghana.
The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Ghana, Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Dakhel described Ghana as its oldest bilateral partner in the Gulf region.
He added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will continue to be tolerant and coexist with all members of the society.
