I mean business, I’ll keep my promises – Mahama
The former President and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has restated his strong dedication to fulfilling all pledges made to the Ghanaian people if given the opportunity in the upcoming 2024 national election.
In the recent 2024 Policy Dialogue on the 22nd and 23rd of February 2024 at Peduase in the Eastern Region, he stated that: “I mean business on the promises I have made and intend to keep them.”
The program was aimed at deliberating on the NDC’s Policy Priorities for the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections scheduled for 7th December 2024.
Mr. Mahama emphasised important commitments like downsizing the government, eliminating ex gratia, and removing the e-levy.
The former President and NDC flag bearer stressed the effectiveness of his policy ideas, like the "24-Hour Economy" and the "Digital Jobs Initiative," stating that these initiatives have the potential to greatly improve the country's prospects, especially its economy.
“Since 2021, I have outlined over 60 different policy proposals, carefully curated to restore our economy and national life in general, to a much better state,” he added.
The two-day NDC dialogue was in preparation towards the 2024 manifesto development process.
