John Mahama vows to justify Upper East Region’s support for NDC

President John Dramani Mahama has assured the people of the Upper East Region that his government will work tirelessly to justify the overwhelming support they gave to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 elections.
He emphasized that their trust in the party would not be taken for granted and pledged to deliver meaningful development to the region.
Speaking at the Jubilee Park in Bolgatanga as part of his ongoing Thank You tour, President Mahama expressed deep gratitude to the Chiefs and people of the Upper East for their role in securing victory for the NDC.
He noted that their unwavering support reflected their belief in his leadership and the party’s vision for Ghana.
“I will continue to drink from the wisdom of our revered chiefs and the good people of this region,” Mahama stated. “Your guidance and contributions are invaluable to the growth of not just the Upper East, but the entire country.”
The President reiterated his commitment to addressing key developmental challenges in the region, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.
He assured the people that his government would prioritize projects that would enhance livelihoods and bring lasting transformation.
Mahama’s Thank You tour serves as a platform for him to directly engage with traditional leaders and citizens, reinforcing his administration’s commitment to national progress.
After his visit to the Upper East Region, he is expected to continue his tour in the Northern Region.
