Kwabena Agyepong enters NPP flagbearer race in style

Former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and former Press Secretary to former President JA Kufuor, Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, has re-entered the political spotlight with a bold move ahead of the party’s next flagbearership contest.
Popularly known as KALA, the respected engineer and politician is putting finishing touches to his expansive Campaign Headquarters at Foire Heights, located on the Ring Road Central in Accra, signalling his intent to return with renewed vigour and purpose.
The move is being interpreted by political observers as a strategic step in positioning himself strongly for the upcoming NPP race.
This “big bang” re-entry appears keen to project readiness, vision, and a serious commitment to the party’s future.
The location, size, and timing of the official announcement further reinforce speculations that his campaign machinery is being revived for a high-impact rollout.
in remarks to the media, KALA stated that the NPP — and Ghana as a whole — require a deep reorientation in order to get back to our Roots.
“It’s time to recalibrate both party and country.
We need to renew ourselves and redefine what party politics and governance stand for; essentially for the welfare of the underprivileged in society,” he said.
According to him, Ghana’s challenges call for a new kind of political leadership — one that is compassionate, courageous, and committed more to our collective welfare rather than personal gain.
“Ghana needs a leader with the vitality and versatility to confront today’s realities and shape a better future,” he added.
