Limited voter registration: Obeng-Fosu donates GHS20K to NPP leadership

Mr Kwasi Obeng-Fosu, an aspiring Member of Parliament for the Adentan Constituency on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ticket in the Greater Accra Region, has demonstrated his commitment to the ongoing limited voters registration exercise in the constituency by making a generous cash donation of GHS 20,000.00 to the party's leadership.
This donation is aimed at motivating and assisting all those participating in the limited voters registration process in Adenta.
The support the man also known as Baba Tauffic in the political circles made to the party includes providing GHS20,000.00 in cash, offering daily breakfast to over 50 people, supplying 20 packs of water to the EC officers, donating 50 packs of water to the party, and providing a vehicle to transport people to and from the registration center.
In addition to these donations, he has personally mobilized people to the registration center, staying overnight to witness and support activities, as he believes that this is a crucial step towards capturing the parliamentary seat from the incumbent National Democratic Congress Member of Parliament.
The donation took place at the Electoral Commission's office, where the NPP party executives were present to receive it.
The 2nd Vice Chairman, Mr Oswald Kissiedu, accepted the cash and water packs on behalf of the party.
He said Baba Tauffic's commitment to supporting the limited voters registration exercise also extends to hosting an all-inclusive waakye party for breakfast, where he dined with all present.
His primary interest was to see the NPP emerge victorious in the upcoming elections, emphasising the importance of unity within the party and presenting the best candidates to secure more seats.
He encouraged all party members to support the candidates representing the party in various constituencies, underscoring the collective responsibility of ensuring victory in the December 2024 elections.
Mr Oswald Kissiedu expressed the constituency's appreciation for Baba Tauffic's contributions and assured him that the funds would be used judiciously to resource their agents monitoring the exercise.
