Mahama pledges 24/7 commitment to Ghanaians, vows transparency if elected in Dec. 7 polls

The Flagbearer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has pledged to work relentlessly to improve the lives of Ghanaians if elected in the upcoming December 7 polls.
The former President assured citizens that his administration would be rooted in transparency and truthfulness in all its dealings.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, 28 September 2024, Mr. Mahama recounted his visits to the Ablekuma North, Central, West, and South constituencies, where he interacted with residents and discussed their concerns.
“I made two solemn pledges to the people: First, as President, I will work 24/7 for you. This is not just a promise but a commitment I take to heart. Your aspirations, needs, and concerns you shared during my interactions will guide my actions, and I will be there for you, always,” Mr. Mahama affirmed.
He emphasised his commitment to honesty, vowing to keep Ghanaians informed during both good and challenging times.
“Secondly, I will always tell you the truth. Transparency will be my guiding principle in good times and challenging times. When things go well, I will celebrate with you. And when we face difficulties, I will be honest about the situation,” Mr. Mahama pledged.
Mr. Mahama also reiterated his dedication to introducing a 24-hour economy policy, aimed at creating jobs, boosting economic growth, and reducing the rising costs of essentials like food and fuel.
He believes this initiative will bring much-needed relief and create better opportunities for Ghanaians, leading to a more prosperous future.
