President John Dramani Mahama will commence his official Thank You Tour of the North East Region on Friday, June 13, 2025, in recognition of the overwhelming support he received during the December 7 general elections.

As part of his visit, Mr. Mahama is expected to meet with traditional leaders, opinion leaders, and residents of the region to express his gratitude and reaffirm his commitment to inclusive development.

The main event will be held at the Nalerigu Astroturf, where a large turnout is anticipated.

The tour, according to organisers, is designed to strengthen the bond between the President and communities that played a pivotal role in his electoral success.

It also offers an opportunity for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer to engage directly with the people and listen to their concerns and aspirations.

Mr. Mahama's North East Region marks the beginning of a broader nationwide tour to thank Ghanaians for their continued trust and support.
